Firefighter / Live-In Terry Denike and Firefighter Chad Eberly completed their final testing of the Delmar Firefighting Training Program today. After 166 hours of dedication to their training they finished class today with a structural burn session. This will move them to the qualification of Interior Firefighter for the department and ready them for the completion of their Firefighter I Certificatiion.

Congratulations on the Successful Completion of the Program.

Today three firefighters completed training in Building Construction Combustibles. FF's T. Denike, J. Rhoads, and D. Wood.

Today TSVFD Firefighter's T. Denike, C. Eberly, and J. Rhoads completed training at the Berks County Fire Training Center for forcible entry. FF's learned/were refreshed on the proper techniques of removing locks and cylinders without having to destroy the entire door. They were also taugh how to easily and effectively force open a door using long hand tools.

Today TSVFD Firefighter's T. Denike and C. Eberly completed training in Truck Company Ops Refresher. This class was to refresh firefighters with the operations of the truck company responding to incidents.

Tonight members attending drill received training in Carbon Monoxide Detector Responses paid for by the Township of Spring Relief Association. Twenty-nine members participated in the drill.
