Weekend Snow Storm Brings 4 Calls For The 85 House

During the snow stom the Company responded to Four Calls.  The 1st call was at 1844 for a reported Oven Fire. Crews made entry and found active fire in the oven and extinguished it, then removed the stove from the residence.  At 0754 on Saturday the Company along with Ladder 18 were dispatched to Woodsway for a reported AFA. Cause was a system malfunction and the assignment was recalled by Deputy 85-3.   At 0810 Company 85 and 56 were dispatched to the far southern area of the Township on Harolds Hill Rd for a reported odor in the structure.  Crews investigated and found nothing.    The last call came in at 1630 to check for fluids in a creek on Chapel Hill Rd as the result of a Non-Injury MVA. Crews stood by until the tow company removed the vehicle.
