The Township of Spring Volunteer Fire Department (TSVFD) is originally comprised of the West Wyomissing, Lincoln Park, Vinemont, & West Lawn Fire Companies, the legacy companies, and is an all volunteer force with the exception of the Fire Commissioner and Four Salaried Firefighters.

Membership in the Township of Spring Volunteer Fire Department has no distinction as the race, color, age, creed, religion, sex, national origin, or economic status.

It is the purpose of the Township of Spring Volunteer Fire Department to exhibit the following:

It is important to note that through a unified command structure the Township of Spring Volunteer Fire Department will provide the leadership necessary for achieving these ideals while respecting the community spirit of the originating Companies.
